By Car or Motorhome

When arriving by car you first need to locate the parking area which can be found on the mainland a short distance from the island. There is plenty of parking available and from here you can make your way to Mont Saint Michel by foot, horse drawn carriage or by one of the shuttle buses.

By Train

The nearest train station to Mont Saint Michel can be found in Pontorson which lies just 10km away. Once at Pontorson there’s a regular shuttle which ferries passenger onwards to Mont Saint Michel.

There are a range of trains available to Pontorson from a variety of different locations although you may be required to change on route.
